Center Based ABA Therapy
Hybridge Learning’s Centers offer our learners the versatility of acquiring skills in a center-based setting. The Center is a wonderful supplement to a half-day program or, by itself, as a stand-alone program. Learners will engage in a variety of activities from individual 1:1 to a small group with the focus always being on each learner’s individual skill acquisition programs. Further, insurance coverage will fund Center services for most learners.

A Fun & Exciting Learning Environment
- The Hybridge Learning Center Model emphasized a fun and comfortable environment that is specialized for children to receive personalized therapy plans alongside toys, tools, and other children for supervised socialization opportunities.
Increased opportunity for socialization skills and friendships
Increased opportunity for better academic & workplace performance
Stable learning environment controlled by ABA & autism experts
A higher rate of learning with a comprehensive approach to therapy
Research has shown that “participants who received both home and center-based services had mastered 100% more per hour while at the center than at home. These analyses indicated that participants demonstrated higher rates of learning during treatment that was provided in a center setting than in the participant’s home” (Dixon et al. 2017).
Comprehensive Center Services Programming
ABA Therapy
Similar to home programming, we take a systematic, yet fun, approach to learning and gaining skills. Center-based programming allows us to control the environment so we may contrive learning opportunities for your child at a higher rate than in the home or community. Your child will also have the opportunity to gain skills in group instruction, social communication and engagement, and generalization.
Summer ABA Program
Don’t let all of that hard work throughout the year slip away during those summer months! HL offers an opportunity to extend your child’s learning throughout the summer to help them practice and maintain their skills for the next school year.
Social Skills Group
Social Skills Training (SST) is an evidence-based method of adult-directed instruction in which social skills are targeted for improvement. Learners with ASD often struggle with social impairments, in which understanding the back and forth of social interaction is difficult. SST can be used to address foundational social skills such as imitation, initiating interactions, and understanding and regulating emotions.
SST is frequently implemented through 1:1 instruction, but there are many benefits to generalizing target skills to a group environment via a Social Skills Group made up of peers. This allows for facilitated practice in controlled settings to help teach participants what to do in a more natural environment and allows for same-age peer models.
Available Exclusively At Our Freehold, NJ Center
Speech Therapy
Our speech-language pathologists have a breadth of experience working with learners with autism and other special needs where speech and language are affected. Our SLPs will assess your child and create a specific plan to target language production, oral motor movements, feeding, and/or any area of concern. Further, if your child uses an augmentative device or sign language to communicate, please know our SLPs have the skill set to help your child advance.
Occupational Therapy
Your child may experience difficulty with specific motor movements, motor planning, and/or managing their body in space. If this is the case, our occupational therapists will work with your child on creating an individualized plan with objectives that incorporate practice routines designed to target the area(s) of concern. Our occupational therapists make it easier for individuals to participate in physical activities, play, and maintain balance and coordination.

Frequently Asked Center Based ABA Questions
Where are you centers located?
Hybridge Learning currently has centers located in:
- Flemington, New Jersey
- Freehold, New Jersey
- Middletown, Delaware
- Chester, Virginia
All of our centers offer our comprehensive services:
- ABA Therapy
- Summer ABA Program

What age range do your centers serve?
Learners can begin center services as young as 18 months old. Currently, we provide center-based ABA programming options to children up to 7 years old to best pair with peers. Learners are grouped throughout their day at the center according to age and session time for exposure to socialization goals. However, HL’s Center-based speech and occupational therapies do not have an age limit for center services. If you have a child older than 7, we are happy to discuss our Home-based ABA therapy services.
What schedule options are available?
At HL, we work with you to determine the best fit service model. We offer half-day, full-day, and hybrid programming options. Our centers are open from 8:30am to 4:30pm, with half-day options for either mornings or afternoons. The great thing is, you don’t have to choose between center or home ABA services. Through our hybrid program model, your child can receive both Home-based AND Center-based ABA therapy!
What are the benefits of center services?
Participating in Center services provides learners a great way to enhance growth in language and communication, social skills, behavior management, and school readiness. Our 3 main goals in Center-based services are to promote independence, promote language and socialization, and teach to the natural environment.
