Applying for a BCBA Job or Behavior Technician Position

BCBA and ABA therapist candidates for NJ employment and Delaware employment are asked to complete an initial screening assessment. Qualified candidates are invited to an in-person interview to help us further explore your training, skills and experience and get a sense of how you would fit as a member of the HLG team. Some candidates may be asked to return for a second interview after studying relevant materials to determine whether they will come on board as part of a training program. Clinical Supervisor - BCBA - Northern NJ

Opportunities in the Counties of: Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Passaic, Sussex, Warren

Education: M.A., M.S., BCBA (required)

Experience: Work with individuals with autism in home and school settings.

 

We are looking for candidates who are fun and energetic and have a passion for working with individuals with special needs. The candidates we seek will have the ability to multi-task and think quickly in a fast-paced environment. The part-time positions will vary in hours needed. Full-time positions are available on a limited basis.

 

Employment details:

We are currently seeking to fill both full-time and part-time (per-diem) positions.

Day services in the school setting include consultations regarding behvaior management and curriculum application, conducting FBA, program management and professional development. Afternoon sessions typically occur during after-school hours (3pm – 7pm) and are 1.5 – 4 hours in length. Supervision of home programs occurs at regular intervals, contingent upon the number of hours a learner receives per week. Hours prior to 3pm are available on a limited basis. Weekend hours are available but not required. Each staff person’s schedule varies based on availability and opportunity.

Responsibilities: Qualified candidates will provide supervision and program coordination to ABA-based programs for students with autism, in the home, school and community settings. Supervisors will be responsible for implementing instructional protocols and disseminating information regarding best practices to technicians. Speaking with, training and supporting parents and families is paramount. Supervisors are responsible for the overall quality assurance of each program.

The candidate must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

Compensation: Rate of pay is based on experience in the field of ABA.
